Epiphany Staff
- Biography
July of 2000 found me, Therese Brennan, beginning work at Epiphany as the Adult Formation Minister. Since then I have worked with an Adult Formation Team to create, enhance, and/or teach a variety of programs that help adults grow in the knowledge and experience of their Catholic faith. My work includes: Preparing parents to celebrate the Baptism of their children, couples to live the sacrament of Marriage, and adults completing their initiation via Confirmation. Teaching or coordinating classes that focus on Scripture, Theology, Catholic thought, Saints, Christian Art and more. Planned field trips have included the "Kentucky Holy Lands," Cathedral of the Assumption, and an Art museum. We've even tapped the Kentucky Humanities for Chautauqua programs. Recently, in September '08, I began work with the Stewardship Committee, exploring ways to encourage living an active, year-round awareness of stewardship. Since 1985, my life has revolved around Religious Education. I have served as a Director of Religious Education in inner-city, suburban parishes in the dioceses of Syracuse, Dallas, Indianapolis and here in Louisville. My work included organizing and conducting workshops, retreats and classes on the parish, diocesan and regional levels. I've earned a Masters Degree in Religious Education from the University of Dallas in 1985. In 1997, I received my Master of Arts Degree in Christian Community Leadership from Regis University, Denver. That same year, I was honored by being inducted into the National Jesuit Honor Society, Alpha Sigma Nu for scholarship and service.
