Biography: Born and raised in the world famous town of Fancy Farm, KY, I began playing piano in church at the age of fourteen. I was led to Louisville in 2006 to attend the University of Louisville School of Music. While an undergraduate at UofL, I studied two years of classical piano before I made the great change to jazz piano. I began playing piano at Epiphany in September of 2006 and after two years I decided to construct an orchestra consisting of middle and high school musicians. Because the group has become so large and arrangements for an ensemble of our diversity do not exist, I do all of the composing and arranging for the group. When I am not going to school, playing at Epiphany, or directing the youth orchestra, I work at Gist Piano Center, am a big brother for Big Brothers Big Sisters, and play with my puppy dog Riley.
