Hospitality

These ministers greet and welcome the community before liturgies and provide for the distribution of Participation Sheets to those coming for worship. They also assist with seating, coordinating the collection, and distribute the community bulletin at the end of liturgies. This is an ideal "family" ministry with young and old being able to participate. Assignments are for one specific liturgy for one month at a time. Rotation requires about three assignment periods per year.

You are invited, as individuals or family groupings, to participate in the wonderful ministry of Hospitality. This is a welcoming ministry, inviting all, as the Body of Christ, into our Worship Space. If you are new to Epiphany it is a great way to meet members of our parish family.

 

Responsibilities involve:

  • dependability
  • handing out participation sheets
  • greeting everyone with a smile
  • passing out the collection baskets
  • assisting physically challenged people when necessary
