Our Maintenance Staff in Action

plumbing problemSunday: August 28, 2011. In the sacristy last weekend there appeared a very small leak on the closet floor. Since the sacristy is small, even a tiny leak is quite noticeable. By Monday, it had not gone away. Our maintenance crew, Ray Hilbert and Bob Clickner began their analysis of the situation on Monday morning. The water line coming into the sacristy is situated with concrete block on both sides. It was anyone’s guess as to exactly where the leak was behind the concrete blocks. After liturgy on Tuesday morning, with great expertise and analysis, Ray and Bob determined where the likely source of the leak might be. Part of two concrete blocks were chiseled out and, amazingly, right behind that spot, below a previously abandoned water line, was a very slow but steady leak.

Moving Forward Into Our Future
Parish Consultation Report
June 9, 2009

  • Together we can imagine, discern and decide how we want to contribute and continue our mission in the world. This survey tool is a start.” Moving Forward into our Future - May 22, 2009

Thank you Epiphany! Due to the generous response and support of so many parishioners, we now have sufficient pledges to maintain both the Pastoral Associate and Parish Nurse positions. Sr. Mary will joyfully remain in the Pastoral Associate position and shall continue to minister among us. Pam Lynch has accepted a job opportunity in the home health field that she is excited about and we wish her the very best in this pursuit. Receptions to express our appreciation and gratitude to Pam for her ministry here will be held after the 5:30 Mass, Saturday, June 27th and between the Masses on Sunday, June 28th. Fr. Jeff and the Parish Pastoral Council will move forward over the coming months to fill the Parish Nurse position. In the interim, Fr. Jeff and Sr. Mary, along with ministry volunteers, will continue to attend to the needs of our home-bound sisters and brothers and the Community Care committee will continue its great and myriad ministries.
