Obituary for Mary “Jane” Fitzgerald

Mary “Jane” Fitzgerald, 67, of Louisville, passed away Monday, May 17, 2010.

She was a reading assistant for 35 years for Jefferson County Public Schools, a member of the Church of Epiphany and a graduate of Assumption High School Class of ’61.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Melvin and Virginia Dott. 

Survivors include, her husband, Michael J. Fitzgerald; daughters, Jeanine F. Padilla (Richard), Shannon Velasquez (Anthony L.) and Michele F. Heil (Joseph); sisters, Susan Potter, Nancy Raque and Patricia; seven grandchildren, John, Jack, Eric, Nicholas, Daniel, Jeff and Julie. 

Her Mass of Christian burial will be at the Church of Epiphany at 10:00 AM Saturday, May 22, 2010, with burial in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday from 3-8 PM at the Pearson-Ratterman Brothers Funeral Home, 12900 Shelbyville Road.
