Compassionate Acts Revealed!

This is an act of compassion that was observed by a member of our community this Lent. Perhaps you have seen other such signs of compassion or been moved to act in a compassionate way this Lent. Let us pass on this sign of God’s life.

Last week, on my bus ride home, a passenger boarded the bus and then realized she didn't have enough change for bus fare. Immediately and without hesitation, at least two passengers got up to offer to assist her with their own change. She didn't need very much, but I was moved by the immediate and unbridled offers to come to her aid.
