Obituary for Margarita Bajandas Missbuechler

Margarita Bajandas Missbuechler, 99, of Louisville, passed away Monday, May 31, 2010 at Hosparus Inpatient Unit downtown.

Born in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico to Juan and Mercedes Bajandas, Margarita was a member of the Virginia Commonwealth University Wartime Emergency Occupational Therapist Class of 1945 and retired from the Veteran's Administration Hospital in 1974. She was a member of Church of the Epiphany.

Margarita was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Alfred Missbuechler.

She is survived by her two sons, Karl (Barbara) Buechler and Fred (Mary Jo) Missbuechler; one brother; three sisters; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Her funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:00 AM Friday, June 4, 2010, at Church of the Epiphany, 914 Old Harrods Creek Road with burial to follow in Lebanon National Cemetery. Visitation will be after 10:00 AM until time of Mass on Friday in the chapel at Epiphany. Ratterman's, 3711 Lexington Road is entrusted with arrangements.
