The Way of the Cross: A Walk for Justice
What: "Walk for Justice" Way of the Cross
Where: Martin Luther King Park in front of the Mazzoli Federal Building--the south side of Chestnut Street, between 6th and 7th Streets, Louisville, KY
When: Good Friday, April 2, 2010, 9:30 -11:30 am.
The spiritual challenge of compassion calls us to share the path of those who suffer. We can "walk with Jesus" and contemporary victims of poverty and oppression on Good Friday, by participating in the 12th annual "Walk for Justice". This event allows us to pray the "Stations of the Cross" together with other members of the Louisville community, taking a 1.5 mile path that connects various sites associated with the experience of poverty and oppression. Participants help carry the cross, and pause at each station for prayer and reflection.
Epiphany is one of the sponsoring organizations for this beautiful event, so we hope to have a goodly number of participants. click here for more information
