Youth Group - Another Year in the Books and Congratulations Seniors!

What a year!  This year, the Youth Group welcomed new youth minister, Chris Luken.  The three months that he was here saw the Easter Vigil Retreat, a Junior High Lock-In and a Senior High Lock-In take place.  We have explored many faith based and spiritual topics including global warming, chastity, and how to read the Bible.

We have also enjoyed many fun activities including laser tag, cookout at Tom Sawyer Park, movies, games, and sports. We ended the year with a cookout on May 31 with fifty youth in attendance!

We also are celebrated the graduation of three seniors who spent their entire high school careers as members of the Youth Group.

Congratulations to Bertie Smith who graduated from DuPont Manuel High School, Jenna Chapman who graduated from Sacred Heart Academy, and Chelsea Adams who graduated from Eastern High School.

Bertie and Jenna will attend the University of Kentucky and Chelsea will attend Kentucky Wesleyan.
