Social Responsibility Announcements

Really Good News for our Honduras Mission! Good news: we will be taking a small team of 5 persons, August 15-21.  While the political situation continues to unfold, other missioners and our Honduran friends tell us that daily life is largely unaffected, aside from the increasing poverty brought about by the resulting economic instability.  The REALLY good news?  Our special collection netted $2500!  This will go towards the community’s construction needs—bathrooms and a community kitchen.   And a partnership proposal with Living Water International has resulted in a grant of 50 water filtration systems!  This project will be the focus of our week at Divina Misericordia.  Please keep all of our friends in Honduras in your prayers.  Thanks to all who have been so generous!
