A parish nurse minister utilizes nursing and spiritual disciplines in a holistic approach to pastoral care ministries within a parish.

The roles of this minister include educator, counselor, referral source, facilitator, and support person in the areas of health and wellness. The minister is a part of a larger parish staff team that led by a pastor works together to build up the Body of Christ.

• The parish nurse does no "hands on" nursing.

Our parish nurse position requires:

• A registered nurse with an active license in good standing in the state of Kentucky
• Experience in the nursing profession with a focus on holistic nursing (at least five years experience)
• A completed ministry formative program in our Catholic faith
• Certification in parish nursing
• A practicing member of our Catholic faith
