Honduras Mission: One week

Greetings to our Beloved Community of Epiphany, from the Honduras Team!

We’ve had a wonderful week so far—although we have experienced some challenges to our internet access, so that has kept us from posting daily updates.  We’ll be holding two sessions about our experiences: the first on Sunday Aug 23, to review our overall impressions and the political situation, the second a full report on Sunday Aug 30, to share photos and project details. 

As we approach our last full day at Divina Misericordia, we look back to many beautiful experiences that we have shared with the community here.  We have been welcomed and embraced as part of the community: walking together in procession, working together on construction, sharing the training of the women for the water purification project, playing with the children, praying and singing, sharing Eucharist, sharing life…it will be hard to leave, but wonderful to come back and share with you!
