Administration/Finance Committee
The Administration/Finance committee oversees all the financial operations of the parish and is involved in safeguarding all parish properties and assets.Other administrative tasks include accounting, budgeting, financial reporting, collection counting, auditing, maintenance of buildings, computer operations, personnel, security, technology, webpage and preservation of our natural resources. The Administration/Finance committee meets on the second Thursday of the month. Contact Laurie Atwell, 435-2747 or Pat Evans, 244-8540.
If you are interested in participating in the work of the Administration Committee, the following subcommittees describe some of the other possibilities:
An individual, family or group agrees to "adopt" a designated area on the grounds to maintain and care for that particular plot. Contact Bob Overberg, 244-8385.
Audit Committee
An audit of financial operations is done annually. CPA's of the parish are asked to contribute their time to be part of this audit committee and to be responsible for one audit area. Contact Laurie Atwell, 435-2747.
Bulk Mailings
Assemble and collate bulk mailings to the parish several times a year. Contact Bobbe Moutray, 245-9733, ext. 26.
Assigned members of this group meet after 11:30 AM liturgy each week to count the stewardship offerings from the liturgies that weekend. Counters are scheduled for a specific Sunday each month. Counting usually takes about an hour. Contact Martha Stuber, 502-245-9733, ext. 12.
Facilities Management & Planning
Volunteers help advise and complete various maintenance projects as needed in our facilities. Contact Dick Kline, through the parish office at 502-245-9733.
Garden and Grounds Care
Grounds care and upkeep has become a "major" project in recent years. Due to the aging of our landscape, along with hurricane damage and major ice storms, keeping up with 20 acres requires the help of many volunteers. In addition to 2 regularly scheduled cleanup days, one on Holy Saturday and one in early November, other work days are frequently scheduled to address the storm damage and decline. Preservation of the peaceful and prayerful natural environment of our grounds is a priority of the Administration/Finance committee. Contact Bob Overberg, 244-8385.
General Office Volunteers
Supplemental office work is frequently needed as well as working for one particular ministry area. Working as an Epiphany office volunteer can offer a refreshing "change of pace." One option is to simply answer our telephones. Some volunteers have learned computer skills through volunteering here. Contact Martha Stuber, 502-245-9733, ext. 12.
Technology Committee
This group manages all things technical, ranging from Windows desktop support for Epiphany staff members to wifi and LAN networking planning and support; from administration of Epiphany's Google Apps account to management of Epiphany's electronic mailing lists. Are you l33t? Contact Jeff Squyres by calling Martha Stuber, 502-245-9733, ext. 12.
Telephone committee
Assist parishioners and staff in special projects where a number of parishioners need to be contacted. The Telephone Committee usually is not activated more than once or twice a year. Contact Martha Stuber, 502-245-9733, ext. 12.
Web committee
Create and maintain these web pages (this current web site is powered by the Drupal Content Management System), utilizing multiple electronic resources, such as: Epiphany's Picasa web albums, Slideshare presentations, YouTube videos, and electronic mailing lists. Any level of technical skillset is appreciated, ranging from those with basic web development skills all the way up to those with complex server-side scripting skills (e.g., PHP/MySQL). Contact Jeff Squyres by calling Martha Stuber, 502-245-9733, ext. 12.
