  Administration

The responsibility for the fiscal health of the community is entrusted to the Administration Committee. One of the major safeguards of the community's assets is the annual audit done by parishioners who are Certified Public Accountants.

Other administrative tasks include budgeting, financial reporting, maintenance of buildings, computer operations, personnel, and preservation of our natural resources. If you are interested in participating in the work of the Administration Committee the following describes some of the possibilities:

Administration Committee
This committee coordinates the work and goals of all other administrative groups. Meets once a month, on the second Thursday. Contact Jay McDermott, 502-244-4698. Committee minutes.

Audit committee
An audit of financial operations is done each year. CPA's of the parish are asked to contribute their time to be part of this audit committee and to be responsible for one audit area.
Contact Laurie Atwell, through the parish office at 502-245-9733

Collection counters
Assigned members of this group meet after 11:30 AM liturgy each week to count the stewardship offerings from the liturgies that weekend. Contact Martha Stuber, 502-245-9733, ext. 12.

Computer support
Data Entry; Systems Management, etc. Special projects may require computer programming or other computer assistance. Volunteers will be contacted as projects arise.

Epiphany house restoration
Group focuses specifically on small, short range, major, and long-range needs of this beautiful structure. Some of the work here is hands-on, and some involves planning and consulting.
Contact Dick Kline, through the parish office at 502-245-9733.

Facilities management & planning
This involves the overseeing of the physical plant and equipment. Each of our major buildings is assigned to an individual who inspects and offers both immediate repair suggestions and long-term planning for improvements. Contact Dick Kline, through the parish office at 502-245-9733.

Garden and grounds care
"Worker bees" who are willing to rake, plant, weed, and otherwise care for our beautiful grounds (usually 2-4 work days per year). Contact the parish office, 502-245-9733.

General office volunteers
Supplemental office work is frequently needed as well as working for one particular ministry area. Working as an Epiphany office volunteer can offer a refreshing "change of pace." One option is to simply answer our telephones. Some volunteers have learned computer skills through volunteering here. Contact Martha Stuber, 502-245-9733, ext. 12.

Telephone committee
Assist parishioners and staff in special projects where a number of parishioners need to be contacted. Contact Martha Stuber, 502-245-9733, ext.12.

Web committee
Create and maintain these web pages. The web committee is split into two halves: the technical group and the editor group. The technical group is responsible for the technical aspects of web site administration, while the editor group is responsible for the content on the web site. The web committee actively solicits content from all the Epiphany subcommittees and staff members, and therefore maintains a consistent, up-to-date web site. Contact Martha Stuber, 502-245-9733, ext. 12.
